Although the idea is a little out there, it makes a lot of sense when we find out Mr. Satan is part of the team. He’s always searching for more fame, so to see him ripping off the Great Saiyaman idea makes perfect sense, even if the real Great Saiyaman happens to be married to his daughter Videl.

Episode 7. 3 does an excellent job of playing on Mr. Satan’s strengths as a character, and much like Bulma, it helps show off that not every character has to be a powerful fighter to be fun and interesting. It isn’t long before Gohan gets roped into portraying the Great Saiyaman.
Although the setup for this happening is a little silly, it’s nice to see him donning the outfit and going out to fight crime again. It’s still a far cry from the Gohan I wanted to see, but this is a good first step to reintroducing him.

Multi- episode stories will always exist, and that’s not bad, but these set- up style episodes need to still have something special in them or else they end up feeling bland and at times, unnecessary.
